The 40-year-old Serbian replaced Croatian Igor Tudor on the bench of Thessaloniki team in March 2016 and won the Greek Cup of 2016-17 season (2-1 against AEK in the final), but PAOK failed to advance to Champions League's qualifiers via the Super League Play Offs.
