"At first half against Emporio Armani Milan we were very strong, but lost our concentration at 3rd quarter, so the opponents naturally took advantage of it and pressed us. For a long time we were extremely bad in the attacking plays, even worse in defense and gave Armani the chance to return to the game easily. Things were better at 4th quarter, with Udoh and Vesely controlling the rebounds and our two guards, Dixon and Sloukas, passing the ball well from the base line. Especially Dixon and Sloukas were very good at this clash.

Since the day Kostas Sloukas arrived in the club, I made clear that he is a very important part of my plans, he is aware of that, nothing new. We trust him, he is playing very well but he knows better than anybody else that he can perform even better. He is an excellent player, really great, dedicated to our club. We are very happy for having him here, he is the leader of our team. This season will be long and painful, the only thing in our minds right now is the upcoming clash for Turkish championship", said the 56-year-old Serbian, who was the head coach of Panathinaikos BC for 13 seasons.
