The 30-year-old Argentinian defender spent the second half of last season on loan at PAOK and his limited playing time at Spartak Moscow recently makes him considering his options.
His wish is to return back to the Greek club but this will come true only if Insaurralde manages to end his contract with the Russian club.
PAOK cannot afford to buy him with a permanent transfer and the Argentinian centre back is hoping to terminate his contract by mutual consent and sign for PAOK before the January transfer window closes.
