Reports from the UAE claim that Al Ain have tabled an offer to Panathinaikos for Marcus Berg and they believe the Arab club is close to complete the signing of the Swedish striker.
However, Panathinaikos rubbished the reports as nonsense claiming that no official bid has come up.
Panathinaikos demand a release clause of 10 million euros to give the green light for any club interested in Berg's services.
