Dimitris Kalyvas from Boeotia Region was a member of the Central Refereeing Committee from November 2012 until October 2014, when he resigned with the rank of substitute president, and will now be in charge of Football League 2 and lower divisions referee appointments, at least in the beginning of his spell.
In August 20, 2013, Dimitris Kalyvas was brutally attacked by a bunch of hooligans outside Fyli Municipality Stadium, after the end of that season's Referees' Athletic Testings, while he was once again a member of the CRC for a few weeks last October-November and will now join Stavros Tritsonis and Michalis Koukoulakis.
This decision of the Hellenic Football Federation's temporary normalization committee came after FIFA and more specifically Kostakis Koutsokoumnis' recent suggestion.
