The president of the Hellenic Football Federation is still acting with arrogance and grit, which goes further than sports' area and reached the Justice world. His announcement is an amazing proof of their real opinion about Judges, football and fans in the country.
Giorgos Girtzikis is speaking about two regular Judges in a way that not even the Minister of Justice and the President of the Supreme Court would had dared. His is criticizing their decisions and role, which means that he questions their authority, protected by the Greek Law.
The remark of Hellenic Football Federation's president about Judge Antonios-Eleftherios Vomvas:
"The substitute member of the Disciplinary Committee Mr. Vomvas, as it was proven written and oral, during 2015-16 season causes many problems to the disciplinary procedure of the Union, disagreed with many presidents, lawyers and clubs' officials. Some of them filed complaints against him at the Head of Athens Court and everybody understood that he is not capable of making a positive contribution from that position in the Disciplinary Committee.
So, Giorgos Girtzikis, who has been accused three times with felony charges, is speaking about the potential and the progress of a regular Judge! Unbelievable grit.
This was not the only case. He is also blasting the president of Ethics Committee (and also a regular Judge) Maria-Louisa Ioannidou for suspicious conversations with the Deputy Minister of Sports with a letter to Stavros Kontonis.
"We are expecting your official apology, otherwise you will confirm the rumours (which I have difficulties to believe, since I am a law-abiding citizen) about being in contact and act the same way with the former president of Ethics Committee, Mrs. Ioannidou, planning something and expecting something else from her".
At the continuance of his letter, he is trying to calm things down and "vindicates" with childish arguments the regular Judge Maria-Louisa Ioannidou.
It is obvious that panic is a terrible advisor, especially when you also believe that you are strong as Napoleon.
We expect the reaction of Judges and Attorneys Union of Greece after that.
