A meeting between two important officials, which will rock the Greek football world and if everything goes well it will lead to the creation of a temporary "mutual" Central Refereeing Committee, has been scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
In this meeting, a high-level person of Greek football and an important official of a "big" club will participate, without excluding the possibility of more representatives from the first or the other side. The main issue of conversation on their agenda will be the effort about the creation of a "temporary" Central Refereeing Committee of "mutual understanding", which will organize the new Referees' Boards and will lead to the beginning of the next Super League in a "peaceful atmosphere", ahead of the upcoming Hellenic Football Federation's elections in October.
We remind you that speaking on radio station Sport FM, the president of Atromitos Giorgos Spanos had mentioned the need for the creation of a "mutual understanding" Central Refereeing Committee. Mr. Spanos had proposed former referee Giorgos Bikas as the well-respected person in professional football which could had been the leader of such an effort.
We also remind you that in the exclusive reportage of sdna.gr a few days ago about the opinions of "14 Super League clubs", Olympiakos and Panathinaikos, we had mention that the Greens consider to be a NECESSARY NEED the immediate replacement of Central Refereeing Committee, in order for things to move in greek football and the new Referees' Boards to be organized without any... pre-election "pressure".
According to our completely reliable reportage, during the previous days TWO more important meetings took place between the important official of the "big" club we mentioned before with some people who have played and keep playing important role in Greek football, the Federation and refereeing.
However, Tuesday's scheduled meeting is definitely the most SERIOUS one and its results will be extremely crucial. We say that because certain proposals about the immediate... future of the Central Refereeing Committee and not only are expected to be made. We suppose that the two sides will speak about specific names and an effort will be made in order to find some common ground for communication, something that seems difficult right now. Still, our hope is to end the meeting with positive results for Greek football's sake.
The only certain thing is that sdna.gr will have the reportage of the meeting and will be in position to inform the readers about everything which will take place. Not only about tomorrow, but about everything that happened during the previous day. Just a few hours patience...
