The last two days "Protathlitis" and "Gavros" newspapers are massively supporting mr Kontonis ahead of the important meeting with FIFA and UEFA officials and after his recent statement against mr Alafouzos and Attorney Isidoros Ntogiakos.
Panathinaikos published an announcement against the Deputy Minister but the "red" Press reacted immediately in favor of him, while mr Ntogiakos is the Attorney responsible for the restricted order (out of football for life) against Vangelis Marinakis.
Olympiakos were fighting against Stavros Kontonis at the beginning of his era, but his broken relationship with Panathinaikos made them to change their minds and stand by his side. However, it remains to be seen if they will continue acting the same after today's meeting with European officials and the danger of a possible "GREXIT", which will massively hurt the champions.
