Gary Neville is likely to be sacked from Valencia at the end of the season and they could approach Poyet for the potential managerial vacancy at the club.
Poyet has also been in the wish-list of Swansea having been linked with the Swans in January but AEK are determined to keep him in charge ahead of next season.
