Arnesen had a clause in his contract which would activate the renewal of his deal at PAOK for two more years after the 1st of April.
However, PAOK has avoided to pay a compensation in the region of 2 million euros as Arnesen left the club and therefore PAOK will just pay him only the salary of the first season.
