It is believed that the Greek club is very eager to sign the 26-year-old Feyenoord goalkeeper after his agent confirmed that AEK are chasing his signature.
Mulder is very high in AEK's shortlist and according to reports the Greek club will make the approach imminently.
The Dutch goalkeeper's contract expires at the end of the season and Feyenoord are not keen on extending his spell at the club.
