"I have already explained everything that happened back in the summer of 2012, there is no reason of going back. I am very proud about my 13 seasons at Panathinaikos, budget was not the reason of leaving the club. I would have done that at 2004 or 2005, when we were playing at a small stadium and after the departure of our best player, Dejan Bodiroga. I want to thank all the fans of Panathinaikos for their love and admiration, of course I respect Olympiacos but I would never join any other Greek side in the future.

No matter what happens in my life, Panathinaikos and the supporters of this club will always be in my heart. Nowadays, I am the head coach of Fenerbahce SK, my contract expires in three years and more importantly, the president of the club and the fans are making happy. We have a mutual respect for each other, Turkish championship is strongest than the Greek Basket League right now. AEK BC, with such history, could be one of the clubs participating in Euroleague", said the 57-year-old Serbian at SDNA.
