Mr. Donis left Toumba Stadium of Thesssaloniki after the end of Greece U-21 National Team's friendly game against Hungary with his car, in order to return to Athens and just before midnight he informed his family that he will be there soon (in 10-15 minutes), but he did not return home.
His son, Tasos Donis, who is a member of Greece U-21, asked to be excluded from the match squad of friendly game in Poland and the members of 47-year-old manager's family informed Athens Police on March 23 that he has been disappeared and that they do not know where he is.
About 24 hours after his disappearance from Greece, Giorgos Donis was found out at... Dubai (he has worked for Al-Sharjah in the recent past) and thankfully he is healthy and has already returned to his motherland, giving an end at that strange story...
