Panathinaikos have parted company with Andrea Stramaccioni. Ex-Panionios manager Marinos Ouzounidis is likely to succeed him in charge.
Panathinaikos took the decision to axe the Italian manager after the poor results and the dismal displays recently which brought the club under scrutiny.
Stramaccioni held talks with Panathinaikos chairman Yiannis Alafouzos after the cup defeat to OFI where it was decided that the Italian manager cannot remain in charge.
Panathinaikos are understood to have found his successor as ex-Panionios manager Marinos Ouzounidis is likely to replace him imminently.
