Last summer Olympiacos was close to signing Moroccan winger Nordin Amrabat.
Speaking to a Spanish newspaper, the 28-year-old explained why he chose to leave Galatasarray for Malaga. "I had better offers from England, Greece and other countries, but I had given my word to Malaga", he said. "I liked the club and its fans. I had made it clear that if I left Galatasaray, I would only do it for Malaga".
However, his one-year loan ends this summer and Amrabat does not know if the Spanish team will pay his buy-out clause. "Malaga will make the decision, so you must ask the club", he commented.
