Despite the away win at Larisa, AEK have taken the decision to sack Temur Ketsbaia from his post after the poor display and the dismal result in the derby against Olympiakos a fortnight ago.

It is believed that Ketsbaia's future at the club is almost over and a decision is expected within the day.

AEK are likely to axe Ketsbaia and they have already held talks with the potential candidates as they are confident that they can have their new man in charge by Saturday when they face Panionios.
