"Everything happened during a training, two days before Greek Cup's final. I jumped in the air for the bal and when I fell, I heard my ankle crashing. It was an unbelievable, disturbing sound and I realized that something very bad had happened. I have suffered injuries in the past, but it was the worst time ever. I started crying, went straight to the hospital and thankfully I got some answers that made me feel better.
Every time such a thing happens, you are always thinking about the worst. I have no time for people's sympathy, I told it only to my family and some close friends. Of course, I also informed the technical staff of Norway National Team. I am currently on a super diet and training harder than ever, I am much closer to returning in action sooner than anybody was expecting after such a serious injury.
They had told me that I had to stay out of action for about 3-4 months, two and a half of them have already passed, so my plan is to return sooner than it was expected. Certainly, I will need some time to reach a perfect level of fitness condition, but I have trained very well during this summer and I feel ready to return in action stronger than ever", said the 25-year-old international at "TV2" station of his motherland.
