The current contract of the 23-year-old international, who joined the danish club from S.S.D. Parma Calcio 1913 two seasons ago and has scored 23 goals in 54 official performances, while he has also been a member of Assyriska FF, FC Köln, St. Gallen and Crotone in the past, expires at summer of 2017.
The Greens are currently searching the market for a back-up striker, behind experienced international Marcus Berg, since they have not managed to complete the signing of talented Argentine Lautaro Rinaldi yet.
"It would be great to become a member of Panathinaikos, a very important club with excellent reputation, but I can not speak with details about this case before we reach an agreement. Everything is possible, but I would rather continue my career out of Scandinavia.
I returned here in order to increase my playing time and then transfer to a more ambitious side, I am the top scorer of the championship the last two seasons and seriously considering to leave Randers FC, my right now I am focused on trainings and my agent is handling all the interest about me.
I don't know personally Marcus Berg, but I have seen him in action and he is a very talented footballer. If I finally join his team, the presence of a Swedish player will help me settle in easier", stated Mikael Ishak at the same website.
