Stavros Kontonis has included that article to his new Sports Law, which was sent yesterday to the Hellenic Olympic Association and all the related Federations, something that had also made clear with his statements a few months ago and is ready to officialize immediately.
Meanwhile, from this summer the Super League's clubs (mostly the important ones) will hold the right to create feeder teams, like in Spain, which will have only Greek players in their squads and be able to participate in the second division of the country, Football League.
The Deputy Minister of Sports believes that he will massively help Greece National Team this way, since the Greek footballers would have more standard playing time instead of being sent to different sides every season, while he will also "block" the opaque background of many of those loan moves between clubs of the same division.
According to reliable sources, the new Sports Law will be executed immediately, which means that there will be no players on loan between Super League's clubs in the next championship, but there is still the possibility of giving some extra time to the teams in order to settle more easily in these significant changes.
Of course, there will be no restriction or limit in sending or signing players on loan from abroad, since that is something which is not creating any "moral issues" or hurting the championship's dignity.
Stavros Kontonis' decision will almost certainly face the reaction of specific Super League's clubs, which are using these notorious "loan tactics" for many years, but the important thing is that the Deputy Minister of Sports would have made another important step against the corruption in Greek football.
