The Reds announced the signing of the 31-year-old Spanish, who is leaving his former club after seven seasons with 172 appearances and his motherland for the first time in his playing career, on Tuesday, without excluding any contract details.
"I am very happy for being here and I will live the experience of joining a very important club. Very important even at european level. I also want to enjoy the Super League's games. I know that Olympiakos is the strongest team in Greece and they are winning the championship all the time. I am also aware that they have solid campaigns in the european competitions at recent years.
I learned some things about the club from footballers who were here in the past, I keep learning things about Olympiakos and realizing what an important side really is. My target is to help them with my experience and especially after the seven seasons of my career with Real Socieadad. Of course, I want to enjoy every match in Greece and give my best in order to make the team even more improved", stated Alberto de la Bella after the announcement of his transfer.
