"Ivan Savvidis has given a lot, much more than money, to PAOK. He has spent time and energy, he loves the club with real passion and we want to give him something back. I wish to had won the Greek Cup in 2014. I really miss the title we deserve as squad and Ivan Savvidis' administration.
Vladan Ivic is not a new manager for me, is an experienced manager. He helped me very much during the time that I was struggling as a person mostly and footballer secondly. I am happy that he was appointed to PAOK, I tried to do my best for the team and him and I enjoyed that we managed to win the Play Offs and he remained on the bench.
He is a very good manager, a man who knows PAOK well and has the ability to handle club's heat, something that will make the difference in the upcoming seasons. We have to let him work. 2015-16 was not an easy season for us. Many problems, many injuries and all those created much tension and bad atmosphere in the locker rooms. We did not have the positive atmosphere of the Play Offs.
The most important thing is that we will not change the manager again. Vladan Ivic knows well the current squad and if we sign another 6-7 players, I think that it will be easier for them to settle in PAOK than if we had a new manager and 15 transfers as well. We are in better condition than in previous seasons and I am sure that we will create a strong team much sooner than before.
I love living in Thessaloniki and playing for a team with much tension. I am a person with much tension in my life, so sometimes I also need that of PAOK. I have a nice life, enjoy my spell with the team which completely covers me and the work here is on the level of top european clubs", said the 29-year-old former player of Kerkyra, Panionios, Eintracht Frankfurt and AC Monaco.
