The result of HFF's General Meeting was a clear message of defeat in the upcoming elections of October for the "system" and Giorgos Girtzikis' current administration, something which was met with frustration and stress by many sides: the "alliance" and the close associates of the president, the Football Unions which supported him (which were feeling stronger than they are really are) and the Super League clubs by his side as well, with Olympiakos on the front line. The Reds have not officially expressed their support to Giorgos Girtzikis, but it seems certain that they will stand by his side, since AEK, Panathinaikos and PAOK are members of the "opposing party".
Mostly because Olympiakos have noticed the "alliance of the three" becoming stronger and being very close to the final reversal of the current "system" and the victory.
Since Friday, many people were supporting that there are no real chances of victory with Giorgos Girtzikis as presidential candidate and they are already looking for his substitute ahead of October's elections.
We could now exclude that this is the reality.
According to SDNA's information from reliable sources, the "Hellenic Football Federation's system", which realizes that its end is near, is planning some meetings since Monday, with the targets of re-gathering and convolution.
Giorgos Girtzikis' candidacy is not strong enough and it seems certain that they will speak about his replacement with another leader, who could be able to face the "opposing party".
Until now, there is nobody in their "camp" who has proved that could be the next leader of their party in October's elections.
Still, they will probably check some other solutions outside the Hellenic Football Federation as well, while there is also the possibility of asking someone who voted against the administrative review on Friday, in order to present him as a person of mutual acceptance.
We could definitely expect rapid progress towards this case...
