"I had the luck to spend part of my playing career with AEK, so the environment is not unknown for me. What I want is to reach our goals until the end of the season. We have to work hard right now and prepare our team well. The time for official matches approaches and we don't have the luxury to wait.
Our first target is towards the european competitions, AEK have to continue playing in Europe. The european competitions have missed AEK in the recent past and we will do everything in our power to reach Europa League's group stage.
We have some transfer targets and have to be sure about them. The positive thing is that we kept many of the players of the successful previous season, in which we won the Greek Cup. I want to do something even better during 2016-17, to give to the fans what they really want to see. I hope that the players that we are going to sign will be with us very soon", said the 48-year-old Georgian.
