We could consider it as the biggest proof that the current administration of the HFF is trying to control the Football Unions and is blackmailing them ahead of Friday's General Meeting!
Phthiotis Football Union of Dimitris Koutromanos is one of the many Football Unions which decided to support the "opposing party" and vote against the administrative review of Giorgos Girtzikis' administration in the upcoming General Meeting.
That has shocked the "HFF's system", because they thought that Phthiotis would had stand by them, but they finally selected to support the other side.
According to SDNA's exclusive information, when it became official that Phthiotis Football Union will vote against the administrative review, the administration of the HFF sent an official letter to them, informing the Union that they owe 13.000 euros to the Federation for the bulletin!
It is a very high amount of money, so we should suppose that it will cover the debt of many years (our sources claim that they have not paid the last three years).
So, we could easily understand that when Koutromanos was voting in favor of Girtzikis and the previous presidents, standing by the "system", the HFF was "hiding" temporarily his debts. Since Koutromanos changed his mind, they ask him to pay right here right now!
It is certainly a clear case of blackmailing.
Why did not the HFF ask for those money the previous years?
How many other Football Unions are owing money and will they be asked in relation with their attitude towards the current administration of the HFF?
How many more "Koutromanos" exist, from which the HFF will ask to pay their debts now? Are there more examples of cases that clearly remind us of blackmailing?
Since when Giorgos Girtzikis has the right to decide who will pay the State and when?
With which decision of the Board of Directors they are asking for the money now and with which decision they were not asking for them in the previous years?
We thin that is it clear how the "HFF's system" is working.
They are keeping their eyes closed, ignoring facts and "gifting" money when someone is... "by our side". When they cross the river, the pressure starts.
We are facing a clear case of blackmailing tactics.
We don't even have to mention that the Sports Attorney has to intervene, enter the headquarters of the Hellenic Football Federation and investigate how the "system" is working and its tactics. If we do not see an intervention for such case, when will we see one?
According to our information, there were strong and serious disagreement from some officials of the HFF about if they should send that official letter to Phthiotis Football Union.
Many people were claiming that this move could striker them back and even force the Sports Attorney to intervene! It seems that the Legal Department, as well, was also against the decision to send the letter!
In the end, the "hardheads" of the Hellenic Football Federation did what they want, those who see the great defeat coming and don't know where to hide!
