"I am content with our campaign with Galatasaray this year, it was a solid season for us. We won a european title, Eurocup, and I really enjoyed the experience of playing for this team. Coach Ataman is very nice, he speaks with the players a lot and we all had a good relationship with him. He understands the needs of the athletes and is trying to help them, with patience and no rush, it was a great experience for all of us.
Of course I am ready to return at the top level, Euroleague, we worked hard during this season to earn this right. I don't know if I will be still a member of Galatasary at 2016-17, I have not renewed my contract yet in spite of the rumours, but I am definitely ready to perform in Euroleague again.
The season is over and I am a free agent right now, expecting offers to decide about my future. I am in talks with my current club, but there is nothing official yet and I have to see what's the best for me. I could go anywhere, I have only nice memories from Athens, of course things will not be the same at Panathinaikos without Dimitris Diamantidis, but my friend James Gist will still be there.
As you can see, I am not certain about anything, because the season ended just three days ago, but I enjoyed working with coach Pedoulakis in the past. He was challenging me every day in trainings, helping me become a better player, I would love to work again with him before my retirement. Still, everything is possible right now, what happened in the past is over and I am only looking to the future.
If Panathinaikos want to start talks with me I am open to do so, there are no hard feelings. I had many conversations with Dimitris Diamantidis this year, but we have not spoken recently, I have his phone number and he has mine, so we will definitely find each other soon", said the 33-year-old international, who was the MVP of this season's Eurocup Basketball Finals, at SDNA.
