"A difficult season for us has just ended, we really wanted to advance to Champions League's qualifiers, to honor the 90 years of club's history. I want to congratulate everybody, all the members of PAOK's large family, because they deserved that success and managed to get it.
We had some very difficult times during this season, with many ups and downs, but obviously this is the way God is leading us. From the extreme disappointment to the great joy, the distance was just a small moment. The team showed its character, we started from the last position of the Play Offs, with zero points, and finished in the first place, without losing a single game.
I want to say publicly, in front of all the fans of PAOK and the whole family of the club, a big thank you to Vladan Ivic. He managed to gather our forces and lead us to the positive result, I want to congratulate him as the first and only manager of PAOK. We will discuss the details in the next days but they are not important.
I had promised him that and I had also told him that he will be the one to decide his own fate. I am happy that a former player of PAOK, a man with the DNA of PAOK, who did a very good work with our Youth Department, managed to complete the season with a success for our young squad.
I wish him great success in the future as manager and leader of PAOK", said the Greek-Russian businessman after home game against Panathinaikos.
