"My personal goal is to play in all the games of Euro, the first match against Ireland will be decisive for our qualification and we have to win it. Our main target is to advance to the round of 16, I understand that our next opponent will be very difficult because the draw has already been made and the other group has very strong teams. Still, I repeat that the first clash will be the most important for Sweden.
Panathinaikos and me had some good and some bad times during this season, I am talking about very bad but also really good memories. We have to be more stable, because we are members of a top club, without so many ups and downs. I was not in solid form during the first months, but I think that I improved my performances since then.
The thing that takes the joy of playing football away of me and my teammates is the part of referees' behavior towards us. I am trying to closing my eyes and not thinking about it, because it takes all the beauty of the sport away, football is mostly feelings. Winning or losing are parts of the game, but knowing that I will definitely see a yellow card no matter what I do during the match is very annoying.
Against AEK, the referee confirmed my thoughts, only ten minutes after the beginning, this situation has to change. Panathinaikos is my team, I really love being here, my feelings for the club and the fans will never change but in football you can't be sure about the future. Super League and Hellenic Football Federation have to change their attitude towards us, they are always saying that they will do something about it but I am three years in Greece and nothing has been done yet.
If Sweden has a successful campaign in Euro, I will not have much time for holidays, but I am sure that I could get some rest during the next season. Panathinaikos should be playing in Europe at 2016-17, that's certain, it is our main target. You are witnessing footballers during the whole world playing in domestic league, in cup, in european competitions, and also have time for their national teams, you can always find some time to keep yourself in good condition", said the 30-year-old international at SDNA.
