"I am very proud for the effort my team, the players and the coaching staff made during 3rd place series, Aris had the home advantage and had already beaten us twice this season, so our motive was high. It was a matter of honor to beat them in front of our fans and that's why we celebrated it so much after the final whistle, AEK proved their quality during the series.
I can't speak for what happened before my arrival and the work of the previous head coach, but during my time here we were strong, fought against the best clubs in Greece and manage to finish 3rd, which was our main target. Of course, you always want to win the title, but you have to settle in reality, so the final taste is more sweet than bitter for us.
My good performances in difficult games is one of my characteristics, I want to enter the court, have some fun and make the supporters and the other players also happy. Sometimes I will help with assists and by controlling the tempo, others I will have to score and I will always be there to do it, as I did against Aris (22 points).
Personally, I love Greece, Athens, the fans of AEK, my teammates, the president! If you are right and they want me to stay, I will be happy to continue here even the season after next. If the team ask me to renew my contract, I will be here for AEK", said the 26-year-old former player of Rethymno BC, KAO Dramas, Cañeros de La Romana, BC Astana and Türk Telekom at SDNA.
