"Our recent positive results and the record of nine victories shows that he have avoided relegation and our new target is entering the Play Offs. However, the most important thing is to give playing time to our talented Greek players, in order to build the team around them the next years. We started the season with some rookie Americans who have never played in Europe and many Greeks, wanting to create a strong side and avoid relegation.
We have changed our philosophy, giving emphasis on youngsters instead of experienced players, as we have done the last two seasons, and managed to find lads with good morale and will to work hard. During the season, we lost players such as Mavroeidis and Lowery who were our leaders in attack and had strong personality. The other guys stepped up and at the last games, after Lowery left, we scored 97 and 115 points, we are in a high level for our standards right now.
There is now some experience at the scouting part, even though Giorgos Limniatis and I have responsibilities with the National Teams during the summer. At Kifisia BC everything works excellent at the part of preparation, all the members of the staff work the whole day to improve the players. We have proved that we are a real family, with professionalism but also friendly relationships between all of us and that's the secret to success for clubs which don't have many fans or long history", said the Greek coach at his SDNA interview.
