"I was there the whole time and I want you to know that Olympiakos squad came at Leoforos without any trouble. We all tried to help them before the beginning of they match, we were ready to play, with our new manager and Essien as a starter. The team which yells louder is not always the better. I asked the referee to see again the book of regulations and start the game, but Olympiakos officials did not really want to play. Our players are very disappointed, the club has a philosophy and we speak in public only when we have to. I am a former player and I know how the situation is at greek football, I want to remind you the behaviour of our opponents twelve years ago at Rizoupoli derby", said the former Greek international at radio station Sport FM.
