Giorgos Tzavellas spoke to NOVA about the game against Iraklis, his own performance and the team’s season expectations .
“There is a team that trains every day and looks at each game individually. I like it a lot this year, I want to participate more and if we keep up training that way the outcome will be positive. I’ll be happy if at the end of the season PAOK finishes 2nd behind Olympiakos. We will be able to fight the odds and make it to Champion’s League group stage.
“We had a difficult run of games. We weren’t as fit as we would like to be. Against good teams like Olympiakos, is something you pay. PAOK should stick on the plan like we did so far, there is no need of making statements but to be good inside the pitch”
I am happy and I am honored to be voted by the fans, this month’s MVP. I would like to dedicate this award to my teammates. As long as the team does well awards like that will come again. I’ve learned so many things. I know what I have to change. A footballer has to be able to play more than one position, that’s how modern football is.
