The new Fenerbahce manager, Vitor Pereira, spoke to the Turkish press about his frightful impressions in Greek football and especially in the derby between Olympiakos and Panathinaikos.
Pereira revealed that he was terrified for what happened at Leoforos Stadium when Panathinaikos fans run into the ground, as he controversially moved towards them before the match gets underway.
“They could have killed me at Leoforos. I came out just to check the pitch but these people do not have to do with football. The Greek authorities has to deal with it,” Pereira said.
