Speaking to SDNA after his agreement with Alba Berlin, Sasa Obradovic revealed what happened with Panathinaikos.
"I decided to stay at Alba, I couldn't wait anymore", the 46-year-old coach said. "I feel nice in Berlin and I believe it is the right decision. Alba was always my first choice, but the main thing was that I couldn't wait. I never spoke officially with Panathinaikos. I was just informed by the media and you could tell via Internet that there were many coaches in their shortlist. I didn't want to be among the choices, but the only choice. There was no official offer".
