Olympiakos have reportedly offered 9 million to Estudiantes for his services, however, the Argentine striker's wish is to play in a more competitive league than in Greece such as the likes of Spain, Italy or France.
Also El Dia hosts comments from an Estudiantes insider which claims that Olympiakos offer does not reach the 10 million dollars (9 millions euros) which Estudiantes at least ask to offload the 24-year-old striker.
“It is true that there is an offer, but it is not in the region of 10 million dollars as the press has said,” the Estudiantes insider underlined.
According to El Dia newspaper, Estudiantes will look to sell Carrillo to a club from a competitive European league, as they respect his wish, with Inter, Anderlecht and Monaco in the hunt.
Inter have reportedly approached Estudiantes chairman Juan Sebastian Veron and it is reported that Carrillo would welcome a move to Inter, although, the talks have not progressed yet.
Moreover, it is believed, that Estudiantes may ask for a fee higher than 10 million dollars as the interest on Carrillo mounts on.
