The Greek coach has made an impact at CSKA Moscow this season both in VTB League and in the Euroleague.
CSKA run a good form with 26 wins and four defeats domestically this season while they have reached the Euroleague Final Four in Madrid.
Itoudis was deservedly named as coach of the year and he gave credit to his players for what they have achieved so far into the season.
“Firstly I want to thank my players and the whole CSKA Moscow club. They have given me the chance to work along with some exceptional players. I also want to the thank all who voter for me. It’s a big honour, but it is a team effort. We’ve still got games to go this season but I hope to win silverware at the end,” he said.
