Olympiakos are on the verge of going through to the Final Four if they beat Barcelona again on Thursday night and Hunter paid tribute to Olympiakos's defence for the victory which put the Greek club with 2-1 in front in the series.
“The key to our success was our strong defending. We aimed to get the posession back. In the previous games they won many offensive rebounds and we managed to correct it. I hate when we lose games. I wanted to prove that if Barcelona would win they would have to get past me at first,” Hunter told SDNA.
As for the fourth game which could potentially pave the way for Olympiakos to the Final Four, Hunter believes that there is still a lot of work to be done. “We have to be calm. We have to be patient. We'll play strong enough as a team in the next game that follows. We must kill it off. I'm not thinking about Final Four because we have not gone through yet. If we manage to do it, then I'll think about it,” Hunter said.
