"Well, we are in a good situation right now - with a 2-0 lead in our series against Panathinaikos Athens", he wrote on his Euroleague blog. "Still, we know how hard it is to play against Panathinaikos in Greece, where they get a lot of energy from their crowd. We are 2-0, but we are not looking ahead to the Final Four until we get another win. We also had a 2-0 lead against Panathinaikos last season and had to come back to Moscow to win the series in Game 5. We don't want to go to 2-2 and come home with a lot of pressure again. We want to get a win in Athens, and as fast as possible. We want to go there on a business trip and hopefully win Game 3. Athens is a great city, but we want to come back to Moscow as soon as possible".
Jackson, however, is aware of the difficulties... "Of course, we expect a very different Panathinaikos on their own court. I am sure they will probably fight much harder. It seems they were a little lethargic in Moscow, but they get a lot of energy from their crowd. We expect a totally different game. It is never easy to play at their place. It is a pretty tough always to play there. They are heckling you all the time and there are people right next to courtside yelling at you, but it is a great place to play! Their support is unbelievable! It is fun to see a crowd that supports a team so much, but we gotta go there and try to get the win we need. As a competitor, you always want to play in atmospheres like this".
