From the first day, SDNA made its intentions clear. From day one (more than three months), our motto was “How much truth can you take?” and we committed to do exactly that: tell the truth. And the truth is that Greek football is in decay; the product is decadent. Cleansing is needed. And that the violent phenomena (clashed between fans, etc) that everyone condemns every now and then (and mostly those responsible for them) are the result and not the cause of this decay.
What’s the cause? CORRUPTION!
Corruption is what mainly causes violence and all that has turned Greek football into a decadent and “untrustworthy” product. When there is a series of legal cases around this product, with the “criminal organization” case and the “fixed matches” case being the most important ones, how can anyone say there is a bigger problem than that in Greek football?
At SDNA we want to look our increasing number of readers straight in the eyes and in order to be able to do that, we consider the cleansing of Greek football to be the biggest issue in this difficult period for Greek sports in general. This is why we have been following these court cases from the very first moment and we have brought to you the latest developments and exclusive information. And this is why we’re launching a new section on our website, called “criminal organization”.
English-speaking readers can follow the cases by clicking on the British flag button on the left part of the banner.
From now on, you can find all the articles relevant to those two court cases in that section. Our hope is those sections will become extinct in the near future and we will be able to enjoy clean, competitive, spectacular and credible Greek football.
SDNA is the only media outlet following these two court cases so closely and we will be posting updates as soon as they get to us. We can handle the truth. Ιf you can too, stay tuned…
