Olympiakos made the break and they have the chance to qualify to the Euroleague Final-Four provided that they celebrate two wins in a row in the home games that follow.
Olympiakos coach Giannis Sfairopoulos was excited after the character that his players showed claiming that: “We had a decent game as our performance in the first game was not good enough. We showed character. That made the difference. We're expecting Barcelona to fight back. It has not finished yet.”
Sfairopoulos also paid tribute to Giorgos Printezis after his spectacular display last night. “Printezis's performance was decisive. He's experienced and he's a key player for us. He helped tremendously both in defence and up front. But all the players gave everything. We've got a huge team spirit in the squad. Spanoulis and Printezis had an excellent game but all the players were great. We managed to block Barcelona offensively and I have to give credit to the whole squad,” he said.
