Getafe midfielder David Fuster left Olympiakos last summer as his contract expired but he would like to return in the future to take a role in the Greek champions.
“I keep a close eye on Olympiakos this season as well as I'm still interested in the Greek league. Nobody knows what the future brings but I would like to return to Olympiakos. I feel the club as my home,” Fuster tells SDNA.
Olympiakos play against AEK in the Greek Super League derby today and Fuster recalls two big wins over AEK with a 6-0 and 4-0 respectively.
“I remember both victories very well. The 6-0 because it was a massive victory in my first year at the club and the 4-0 because I could dedicate my goal to a person who is not among us. The derbies against AEK are games with high intensity for the fans and for the players as well. Every player wants to be part in these games,” Fuster says.
The Spaniard wishes Olympiakos to beat AEK but despite the difference in the league table every derby is wide open.
“It's true that at the moment there is a big difference between Olympiakos and the other clubs. But the derbies are wide open so anything can happen. My desire and my wish is to see Olympiakos getting the three points.”
