The rumours for his potential move to a top European club over the summer transfer window may hot up, however, Masuaku insists that he is very happy at Olympiakos as the move to the Greek giants changed his whole life.
“Olympiakos changed my life. The atmosphere is great. I was treated badly at Valenciennes. Olympiakos recognised my quality. I feel confident here, I try my best and I develop as a player,” Masuaku acknowledged.
The French back is also excited from the fact that Olympiakos are always serious title contenders while they play at the top level in the Champions League every season. “If we are focused till the end we will celebrate the title. That will give us the opportunity to go through to the Champions League as well. This season in the Champions League we were very close to pas through to the last 16 but we faced some strong clubs. In the Europa League we had a bad game against Dnipro and it was tough to turn the situation around in the second leg,” he said.
