According to sdna.gr sources Fulham will try to offload the 27-year-old Greek striker at the end of the season hoping to get back a substantial sum of the 15 million euros they paid Olympiakos to buy him in January 2014.
Mitroglou has been in a decent form recently enjoying his loan spell at Olympiakos this season and the Greek giants would like to make the move permanent over the summer.
Fulham have yet to open talks with Olympiakos but this will happen possibly when they will secure Championship football for next season in the fight to stay up.
The Cottagers though are reluctant to sell in a reduced price but this would not be an easy task.
However, Fulham reportedly owe an amount to Olympiakos from Mitroglou's transfer thought to be in the region of 4 million euros and this could be added in a potential deal.
The Greek striker may put pressure as well to make the move permanent as he feels confident at Olympiakos and he does not wish to return back to Fulham.
