"I knew well Randal from his spell with Cholet Basket in France and I was sure about him even if he did not have much playing time at Besiktas in 2012-13 season. His first year with Nancy was amazing, he almost averaged a double-double and was voter as the MVP of the team. The second season was not so well, he suffered some injuries, but was solid once again at his third one, in spite of an elbow problem.

I don't know if he worked well this summer, but as I remember him, the injuries have not influenced his game and I believe that the officials of AEK should not be worried, because he returned strong after his surgery. He is an unbelievable athlete in blocking and defensive rebounds, this aspects of his game are on top level. He is an amazing defender and one of the smartest players I have ever worked with.

With his fast legs and the excellent jumping timing he can help the other defenders and stop his personal opponent. Of course, he is not so good in attack and his percentage in free throws is very bad, something that makes the opponents targeting his sometimes. Still, he can help with his average speed and positions in pick 'n' roll situations and take a shot immediately, in order to avoid being fouled.

Falker is not a great finisher but is definitely very strong, so he can score points from the low post. Still, there is always a chance of being fouled there, but if there is a possibility of passing, even in a different angle, he can do it. He is not a fanatic of training, but not lazy of course. When he did not have performed well the previous night, he used to come earlier and work, the free throws problem was annoying him.

Randal Falkner is a very calm and quiet guy, he never caused us any trouble and is also a solid teammate. He likes cooking and cars, I believe that he is an interesting man to speak with. I can not compare him with any other player, because of the difference between his defensive and attacking ability. There are not many athletes like him, he is kind of unique, with special style", said the 63-year-old French coach at SDNA.

Weisz at SDNA: "Randal Falker is great defender, bad free throw shooter"
