Lately the Hungarian goalkeeper has been linked with a move to AEK with reports claiming that he has already agreed in principal with Olympiakos's rivals.
However, Megyeri played down the transfer rumours regarding his future, claiming that he is staying put for the time being.
“The recent weeks I read in the press stories over my future. I would like to clarify that I have not signed with any club. I'm an Olympiakos player the last five years and I work hard every day for the club. I love this club, I respect the president and the fans. Despite the interest in my services my heart belongs to Olympiakos and none has the right to doubt it. I don't know what the future lies to me. I want to develop as a player but I'm staying focused on Olympiakos,” Megyeri said.
