Panathinaikos manager Giannis Anastasiou was happy after the victory in Crete against Ergotelis (2-0).
"In the first half we had some opportunities, we scored two fast goals and we could have scored more", he said. "We were disciplined. But in the second half we dropped down a gear. There are seven games left and we must continue in the same way".
Ergotelis manager Giannis Taousianis was aware of the match difficulties... "Panathinaikos scored quite early, we can say it was a deserved victory. We knew it was a tough mission. The second goal was cheap and we made an effort to turn things around".
