Panathinaikos goalkeeper Luke Steele thinks that the spirit shown in the derby against PAOK was the main reason for earning the victory.
Panathinaikos managed to turn the game around from 2-1 down claiming a remarkable win by 4-3 against PAOK.
Steele believes that the team spirit Panathinaikos had was the key in order to clinch this victory.
“We've shown character. The fact that we played in closed doors made the things difficult for us. We were 2-1 down but we managed to turn it around because of our team spirit. We wanted to win this game in order to pile pressure on Olympiakos at the top of the table,” Steele quoted.
