Adonios Mastoras dedicated the silver medal in high jump at the European Indoor Championships to his coach.
"I wanted to make Greeks happy", the 24-year-old athlete said. "I am sad I didn't win the gold, but I feel honoured to be on the podium. The hard work and training have paid off. I am happy and I dedicate the medal to Giorgos Pomaski".
His coach was really happy too... "He was perfect today. He did everything we have been talking about the last five months. He could have won the gold medal, 2.34m. is a height he could have cleared".
