PAOK were handed a five-point deduction, after the violent incidents at Toumba that led to the suspension of the Cup match against Olympiakos.
They will also have to pay a 100.000€ fine and play five matches behind closed doors. The club will appeal in order to reverse the decision taken by EPO.
"It would be interesting to talk about the reasons of violence now", people from the club said after hearing the news.
PAOK boss Ivan Savvidis, who is in Athens, was informed about the decision and was devastated.
