Panathinaikos are through to the semi-finals of the Greek Cup, after their successful appeal against the decision of the Sports Judge of ESAKE.
Initially, Olympiakos had won the case and qualified for the semis, despite losing the game in the quarter-finals at the hands of Panathinaikos (77-76). They had appealed because PAO president Dimitris Giannakopoulos did not have the right to attend the game, as he was banned.
The decision has been officially announced to the teams and Panathinaikos will face PAOK in the semis. The game will be played in Salonika on February 21 or 22.
