As you see in the photo below, the 41 arrested were heavily armed and ready for battle. As informed by the police, they were travelling aboard nine private vehicles to Athens and supplied the munitions from a warehouse of the Thessalian city.

Arrested (41) Foreigners in the wider region of Larissa, accused of theft and violation of the Arms Act and the Act on fireworks and firecrackers
They were arrested in the early hours of today (03-11-2015) at Moschochori toll station, by police officers of the Police Service Directorate Larissa (41) Foreign (36) Serbian nationals and (5) Bosnia and Herzegovina nationals, aged 19-38 years, at whose expense was formed file for the offenses of theft jointly and violation of weapons law and for fireworks and firecrackers.
In particular, foreign occupants with nine cars were moving to PAT.E. heading to Athens, they went to the warehouse and removed various materials such as wooden bats and bars , as well as stones .
Then they boarded the vehicles and fled in the direction to Athens, where at tolls identified by police and arrested.

The police investigation revealed that these foreigners traveled to Athens to watch a football game.
Those arrested will be brought to the Prosecutor of Larissa while work conducted by Larissa Security Subdivision.
